If paying cash, participants can also pay the registration fee at Havana Palace of Conventions, headquarters of the Convention, when crediting.

• Accreditation module (credential, briefcase, memory of the event in CD, notes pad, pen, scientific programs and information on the Convention).
• Participation in scientific activities (work sessions, opening and closing activities, masterful lectures, fair and social activities of the official program).
• Certificate of attendance and certificate of author in case of presenting work
  Students should submit during accreditation, an official identification that certifies this category.

Virtual Delegate:

• Accreditation module (credential, briefcase, memory of the event in CD, note pad, pen, scientific programs and information on the Convention).
• Access to the scientific activities on Internet.
• Certificate of attendance and certificate of author in case of presenting work.
  The accreditation module will be sent by  postal mail.

Companion:  

• Participation in the opening and closing activities .

Accommodation

Solways Cuba, the travel agency channeling all reservations for the 13th INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION INFORMÁTICA 2009, offers special rates for accommodation and other activities in close cooperation with Havanatur, the host agency for the Convention.

The Organizing Committee, through Havanatur Travel Agency and Solways Cuba, offers the possibility of arranging your accommodation package, transfer to and from the international airport, and other services related to the conference.

Booking Conditions
Each participant will receive individualized confirmation indicating the hotel name and address, and a description of the services included in the reservation. The booking process will be complete upon receipt of the corresponding deposit.

Requests for group reservations (more than 10 rooms) should be either faxed or mailed to Solways Cuba, informaticahabana@solways.com. Special payment conditions and cancellation policies will apply.

Payment Conditions

All services related to the conference require prepayment. Your credit card will be debited 24 hours after booking for the amount indicated on making the reservation. Charges will be made in euros payable to GESTION HOT. TURISTICA MESOL S.A. You will receive confirmation in writing, together with the remaining details of the service requested upon confirming the reservation. Solways Cuba accepts online payment with Visa or MasterCard credit cards.

Accommodation Cancellations

Cancellations received 30 days prior to arrival date: 100% of the package will be refunded minus 20 euros for administrative expenses.

Cancellations received 29 – 7 days prior to arrival date: The total value of the accommodation package will be refunded, minus the first night’s cost and 20 euros for administrative expenses.

Cancellations received less than 7 days prior to arrival date: No refund applies.
 
Reservation of the accommodation package via our website is a simple, speedy process. You are just 5 steps away from receiving your final confirmation.

1. Selection of hotel and dates: You may choose from a list of hotels related to the conference, entering your personal arrival and departure data according to your air connections. You may simultaneously book up to 3 double rooms for 6 participants in the conference.

2. Revision and summary: View the final price to be paid per passenger, as well as the overall charge and details about the accommodation package chosen. 

3. Personal data: You will enter your personal data (name/s, surname/s, electronic address, etc.)

4. Payment: You will enter your credit card data directly into our payment center. And will automatically view a notification of the state of the operation. We use SSL services that ensure absolute privacy of your personal data.

5. Confirmation: You will instantly receive in your email inbox electronic confirmation of the reservation made as well as details about each of the participants and services included.
